One of the most devastating experiences that an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) undergoes is the depression, stress, and suffering from his or her spouse who is left in the Philippines cohabiting with another.
It is indeed very difficult to recover from this ordeal especially if the incident did not only happen by chance but was planned and is being repeated over and over again.
Erwin Saludes, 32 years old and an OFW working as a factory worker in South Korea went to Raffy Tulfo to seek advice and assistance regarding his wife, Jessica Saludes, 29 years old who was allegedly caught having numerous illicit affairs. Erwin Saludes said her lovers and many witnesses admitted to him about Jessica’s many adulterous relationships.
Erwin and Jessica are married and have two children. Erwin related his story that while he was in South Korea working hard to give his family a better life, his wife Jessica was enjoying with her multiple extramarital partners. Erwin have evidences of her conversations with her lovers and photos with them.
Jessica admitted Erwin’s allegations, but she claimed that she only had one relationship with another man and that was already in the past. She claimed that she does not have any illegal affair at the moment and is very persistent and sincere in asking Erwin for his forgiveness and consideration.
Jessica wants Erwin back and wants to give her children a solid and happy family but that will only happen if Erwin forgives her and accepts her again.
However, Erwin expressed his grief and pain over Jessica’s numerous cheating and illegal affairs. He showed Tulfo his evidences. He was devastated of the fact that Jessica could not stop from flirting and cheating and expressed his decision to file adultery against her.
Tulfo, though he wanted Erwin and Jessica’s marriage be saved, understood how Erwin felt and his team assisted Erwin to file for adultery against his wife.
Erwin left a message to all OFWs and other people who can relate to his story that may his story serve as a lesson to everyone. It is not easy working abroad away from families. Loved ones who are left behind should be strong and committed to stay faithful for a long-lasting relationship. The children should always be a priority and keeping them emotionally safe should be of highest value.
