Urgent job vacancies in Germany and Saudi for nurses

More and more Filipinos are leaving their family behind and opt to go abroad to work and to experience a different life than the life they have in the Philippines.  For many, working abroad means the realization of their dreams to have a better life because employment abroad gives higher salaries and better benefits.

Many stories have been told about overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) borrowing money or selling properties just to raise the money they need to be able to apply for a work in a foreign country.  This is how desperate some Filipinos are when it comes to betting for an employment abroad.

Related to this, foreign countries that need the expertise and services of Filipinos are open for them. Lately, GMA News published that there are about 350 available positions for nurses in Germany while about a thousand nurse specialists are needed in Saudi Arabia.

For the nurses applying for job vacancies in Germany, the requirements include, a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Professional Regulations Commission license, and two years or more work experience, and willing to learn the German language.

Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, requirements include a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Professional Regulations Commission license, and one-year work experience.

Though the jobs are open for everyone, this may be limited to those who are already proficient in the German language or willing to undergo German language training in the Philippines before deployment as this is a requirement for the job.

Rappler previously published similar job opportunities for nurses which stated that employers will also pay for the visa application costs and airfare of the recruits from the Philippines to Germany. They will also assist the employees in finding accommodations, but the nurses will shoulder board and lodging expenses either in full or in part.

As posted by Rappler about a similar job offering, the starting salary is €1,900 (about P113,000) gross a month, which will increase to €2,300 (about P137,000) once the employee gets recognition as qualified nurse.

Interested applicants should visit any POEA office to inquire further about those job offerings. They have until June 30 to submit the requirements for the positions. – LMI
