Split-level house with three bedrooms

A split-level house or the so called 1.5 storeys house is cute and adorable to look at.  A split-level home is a style of house in which the floor levels are staggered. There are typically two short sets of stairs, one running upward to a bedroom level, and one going downward toward a basement area.

An example of a split-level home is the one in the picture below.  If you are interested in building this style, read on.

The house is elevated with 8 steps higher than the ground as you can see from its stairs.  The stairs lead to the main level which houses the living room, kitchen and dining, 2 bathrooms and a bedroom.  You can refer to its floor plan in the pictures below.

The upper level, which is accessed using short stairs contain the two more bedrooms while below it is the carport.  This can be enclosed to make it a basement or storage.

It really looks cute especially the way it was designed.  You can have other designs too if you wish.  But this is the typical design of a split-level house.

So, how much would it cost to build this three-bedroom split-level house?  With the materials used, building this house would cost around US$80,000-100,000.
