Pregnant OFW in Kuwait raped by her male employer

Another overseas Filipino worker (OFW) story is going viral these days.  This story started to become sensational when it was shown at Raffy Tulfo’s program at ABC 5.

An OFW working in Kuwait who was called “Jenny” (not her real name) contacted Raffy Tulfo through his program and related her story.  According to her, she was raped by her male employer twice.  She reported that her male employer used to go up to her room and perform those acts of lasciviousness.

She also recalled that whenever her female employer went somewhere and she was just left alone at home, her male employer would go back home to just fulfill his desires on her.

Tulfo coordinated with Jenny’s agency in the Philippines and asked them to extend any assistance to her.  Juvy Cruz, the Administrative Officer of the said recruitment agency expressed her sympathy and she said to settle the issue.

Jenny is now back in the Philippines and is six months pregnant.  In Tulfo’s interview with her, Jenny admitted that she is pregnant but not with her male employer in Kuwait who allegedly raped her twice but to her Filipino “boyfriend” who is married.

She disclosed that her “boyfriend” refused to admit that he is the child’s father.  Jenny is at present confused and undergoing distress because of her condition. She later disclosed that she is a single mother with three grown up kids and now pregnant with her fourth child.

Tulfo has also contacted Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Arnel Ignacio for any assistance for Jenny. Tulfo himself extended financial support to her and had her undergo check up and accorded her financial assistance for her vitamins and medicines.

From Tulfo’s interview with her, it was known that Jenny went back to her home town Zamboanga where her kids and family live.
