Check Out This One-Story Traditional House Plan

One of the biggest decisions that you will make when it comes to building your own home is choosing between a one-story or a two-story house. When choosing, it is important to consider you and your family’s needs, your lifestyle, the total lot area that you have, and most especially, your budget.

If you have a bigger family and you have a bigger budget to use for your dream home, why don’t you build a two-story house instead? Compared to a bungalow, a two-story house has a bigger floor space. It also has bigger and more rooms. Plus, it can save you more money in the long run as you don’t have to add more rooms, in case your family gets bigger.

But if you are looking to live in the province, away from the bustle and hustle of the busy life in the city, then this traditional house will surely fit your taste!

This one-story traditional house takes its style from the old houses. It uses the combination of modernity from plastering work and the traditional woodwork. It brings the beauty of wooden planks which matches perfectly to the cement wall finish.

The first spot of the house provides room to sit back and relax. It can be used as a living room area to meet and chat with friends. Since the first level of this traditional style house is open, as it is used to elevate the house from the ground, you can also use it to host parties or even as a lanai.

Meanwhile, the other parts of this house is where the other rooms are located. Both the walls and the floorings are made of wood.

There is a living room which matches perfectly with an L-shaped sofa and wall mounted TV. There’s also a small kitchen a few steps away from the living room. The two bedrooms for the occupants of this house are located on this floor too.

Another unique feature of this house is the terrace, overlooking the whole area outside.
