Just recently, we reported a case of an Overseas Filipino Worker in Kuwait who started working in the Gulf Estate since 2013 but failed to get in touch with her family. Her family is crying for help since the last contact they made was during the last day of Ramadan in 2015.
With the recent killings of OFWs, particularly those working as household helpers in Kuwait, a lot of families are fearing for the safety and security of their family members who are working abroad. Although a lot of OFWs in Kuwait are now going home safely to their families in the Philippines, there are still others who need help.
This, in particular, is another domestic helper who failed to get in touch with her family for several years.

No More Contact With Her Family
In a Facebook post by a netizen under the name Lemien Ho Lee, he is asking help for other people to find her sister named Rahima Abdulkadir who started working in Kuwait for greener pastures in 2010. According to her, when her sister started working abroad, she hasn’t come back to her family.
Lemien is now fearing that her sister might have suffered the same fate as the other domestic helpers in Kuwait who were either abused or died at the hands of their abusive employers. They are not sure whether her sister is still alive since based on their last conversation, the OFW is asking for help.

We are hoping that the OFW is still safe and on her way to her family in the Philippines. If you know her or have information about her, please get in touch with Lemien as soon as possible.
