When we are sick, we often rely on our family members or friends to help us. We seek help from the people around us to help and guide us in times of desperation.

However, when you are an Overseas Filipino Worker and you are away from your families and friends, it can be hard to deal with these kinds of situation. Often times, when you are sick, you are left to fend off yourself.

Luckily, when an OFW in Saudi Arabia needed help, there are other OFWs ready to help her.

OFW in Saudi Arabia Needed Help

In a Facebook post shared by an OFW named Analyn Agustin de Vera, a Kababayan named Wahida Bandala is currently confined in Prince Saudi Bin Jalawi Hospital in Room 203. In the video she posted, Bandala still looks sick and recovering.

Although the OFW in Saudi Arabia can be seen smiling and happy, she cannot move the left side of her body. Possibly, she is suffering from a mild stroke.

Is It Her Employer’s Doing?

While talking to de Vera, the OFW was saying “pilipit camay ko..” and was trying to act out something. When de Vera asked her what her former employer did to her, she became quiet and did not reiterate anything anymore. If it is her employer’s doing or not, it is still unclear. However, her employer is no show in the hospital as well.

The OFW is currently on rehabilitation and is in the process of healing but as of the moment, there is nobody taking care of her. De Vera is hoping that other fellow kababayans will help Bandala especially during this time when she doesn’t have anything to turn to.

Let us continue praying for her speedy recovery. The government will for sure do everything in their hands to help the needy OFW in Saudi Arabia.
