Every Time Something is Wrong, The Female Employer Puts the Blame on This Domestic Helper and Beats Her For Severely

Overseas Filipino Workers are known as modern-day heroes because of their sacrifices not only for their family but for the country. Most of them are deciding to move and work overseas to bring food to the table and to give a much better life for their family.

With the graduation season just around the corner, most of them are just contented looking at the photos of their graduating family members. A lot of them are willing to make huge sacrifices and are willing to be away from their families just to send their children or sibling to school.

However, there is recent news pointing out that our modern day heroes all over the world, especially those in the Middle East, are facing dangers at some point in their lives from working abroad. Some of them are suffering from certain diseases while some are suffering from physical and mental abuse from their employers. One of them is Joanne Palma.

What Happened to Our Kababayan?

In a Facebook post, Joanne, who is working as a domestic helper for a family in Saudi Arabia, is asking to be immediately rescued since she can’t take it anymore.

According to her, her madame (female employer) is always beating her. Every time her employer’s children are doing something wrong, her madame will put the blame on her and in return, will beat her.

The domestic helper also revealed that there are times when the children would fight and point knives at each other. Joanne is afraid that they might hurt each other with the knives and her madame will put the blame on her again.

Because of her sufferings in her employer’s house, what Joanne wants now is just to return to her family in the Philippines. She is afraid that if something worse happen, she will experience the worst too.
