Elevated two-bedroom house design

If you are in a flood-prone place, it is advisable for you to build an elevated house to protect you from being flooded.  One meter elevation or higher is a good elevation scheme.  Some homeowners would even elevate their houses a little higher than usual to protect their stuffs inside.

If you like the idea of elevating your house, this post is for you.  Go check it out below.

The elevation done on this house is obvious because the posts are visible.  You can also attain elevation by filling the lot with land then build your house as usual without showing the posts like in this house.  Whatever way you wish your house to be elevated is OK.  The bottomline is that it protects you from the flood water.

This house was wonderfully designed with balcony that runs from the front all the way to the right side of the house.  It adds a pleasing appearance to it.  You can also modify the roof style. Shed roof or clerestory roof are also good for this style.

You can also choose another color to paint the bulk of the house.  That all depends on your preference or taste.  The one you see here is just a model and an inspiration. Check the floor plan below.  If this works for you, you may use it for your house.  If it doesn’t you can always change it.
